Have you ever been out of a seasoning you need for a recipe? Well, that has happened to me on a few occasions. The solution? You probably have the ingredients in your spice cupboard to make your own Italian Seasoning without having to jump in the car to buy some. If you’re like me, you more than likely wind up buying other things you don’t necessarily need at the moment. Fortunately, I have a lot of dried herbs from the summer. Making this using those is quite satisfying to my efforts to grow so many herbs! Tomatoes, however, are a different story thanks to the squirrels.
The Mix:
Adjust the seasoning ingredients to satisfy your preferences if you like one ingredient over another. Combine all of the seasonings. Funnel into a spice jar and label it. Another one of my favorites to have on hand is Taco Seasoning. Whether it’s need just for tacos or Quick Taco Pasta .
Uses:
Not only can you use it to season sauces or meat; you could mis it into some Garlic Butter Spread to put on a slice of some Crusty No-Kneaad Bread !
