This Raspberry Firecracker Sauce zings all your senses! Jim and I were celebrating our eighth year together by reliving our first date at a local restaurant. As I recall, we had brie with fruit and coconut shrimp appetizers with red wine ..and something else. I think it was at that moment I became lost in the conversation with his blue eyes and compassionate manner. The sauce we had on that early October evening on their deck outside was a sweet orange sauce, but we both love raspberries so I decided to spice up the memory a bit. It complimented the Coconut Shrimp making that seafood flavor pop! We were not disappointed.
Ingredients
- ½ c. seedless raspberry jam
- 3 T. light soy sauce
- 2 T. Sriracha sauce
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ t. fresh ginger, minced
- 1 T. fresh lime juice
- red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients with a whisk. If you want it thicker, add more jam.
