Old Bay Shrimp Pasta Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 pound small shell pasta or other of your choice
  • 1 pound small shrimp 61-70 count, peeled, deveined see notes
  • 2 t Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 T lemon juice
  • 1 c Miracle Whip Salad Dressing
  • 1 c celery, finely chopped
  • 1 t dried dill weed
  • 1/2 t Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 t cayenne

Instructions

  • Cook pasta in salted water to al dente stage; drain and cool.
  • Steam shrimp, if raw, for 2-3 minutes; drain and toss with 2 teaspoons of the Old Bay. Set aside.
  • Combine the other ingredients together.
  • Once the pasta has cooled, toss gently with the shrimp and dressing mixture.
  • Cover and refrigerate to allow flavors to meld.
  • Serve cold and return unused portion promptly to refrigerator.

Notes

To infuse more Old Bay flavor into the shrimp, bring 1/2 cup of both water and apple cider vinegar to a boil. Add shrimp and cover. Boil for about 2 1/2 - 3 minutes, then drain. Follow with the rest of the recipe and enjoy.
